Thimphu: Travel to Bhutan’s capital, Thimphu, and explore its rich cultural heritage. Visit the Tashichho Dzong, National Memorial Chorten, and the Giant Buddha Statue. Don’t miss a visit to the Folk Heritage Museum and a stroll along the vibrant Norzin Lam.

Tour Plan

Welcome to Bhutan.

  • Greetings at Bagdora Airport and transfer to Bhutan. (~4 hrs)
  • After Immigration checking, visit the Karbandi Temple and most spectacular the Bhutan Gate which is the gateway to Bhutan from India via land.
  • Leisure in the evening
  • Overnight at Phuentsholing.

Welcome to Capital City.

  • Wake up, have a delicious breakfast and start your journey to the capital (~4 hrs). Welcome to the Capital City of Bhutan, Thimphu.
  • Visit TashiChoe Dzong, centenary market, Takin reserve centre, Dechen Phodrang Lhakhang and then visit Zilukha Nunnery,
  • Folk Heritage and main town.
  • Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Punakha Tour

  • Start your day with a joyous visit to the magnificent Buddha statue then Memorial Chorten.
  • Start towards Dochu La for lunch and a spectacular view of the valleys.
  • Visit Druk Wangyal Lhakhang and Chorten.
  • After lunch visit Chimi Lhakhang popularly known asfertility temple blessed by Lam Drukpa Kuenlay.
  • Arrive at the old capital of Bhutan, Punakha.
  • Visit the most beautiful Fortress of Bhutan, The Punakha Dzong and Khuru Lhakhang.
  • Return to Thimphu and overnight stay at Punakha.

Tiger's Nest Hike

  • Move to Paro after early breakfast and Then begin the most
  • anticipated moment of the tour.
  • Hike to Taktsang and then Dinner at a village homestay with a hot stone bath(optional).
  • Overnight at Paro.

After Breakfast, Check out and proceed toward Bagdora /Siluguri. (-8 hrs) Drop to the Airport/Hotel. The tour ends here.
